Springfest 2012 celebrates spring and the upcoming summer season. It is four dynamic days of delicious food, live entertainment and unique arts and crafts under four huge big top tents. Springfest is located in the Inlet Lot at the south end of Ocean City’s famous Boardwalk.
Springfest serves up a continuous variety of musical performances on two stages. Admission to the four-ay event is free. All entertainment is free with the exception of the headline acts. The Fabulous Hubcaps perform Thursday, May 3 at 7 p.m.. Friday, May 4 at 8 p.m., country music legend, Lorretta Lynn will grace the Springfest stage. Saturday, May 5 at 8 p.m., don’t miss 80s rockers Eddie Money and Survivor. All tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the Roland E. Powell Convention Center box office in Ocean City.
Bring your appetite so you can enjoy delicious food from famous Eastern Shore delicacies to a wide assortment of ethnic food. Over 30 food vendors will serve a variety of delicious food, as the Springfest artisans will delight your eyes with their arts and crafts creations during the Springfest 2012 celebration.
Springfest Transportation
The Springfest Express offers direct service for festival attendees traveling from the Roland E. Powell Convention Center to the Inlet Parking Lot. This is a non-stop express route that takes you directly to the Springfest grounds for only $3 ride-all-day or $1 per boarding. Parking is free at the Convention Center south lot. Shuttles departs the lot every 30 minutes from 9 a.m. until 30 minutes following the end of the evening’s last concert, Thursday through Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Ride the Boardwalk tram directly to the Springfest grounds for only $3 per person one-way. The tram runs from 10 a.m. to midnight on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Due to limited parking around the festival, and for your convenience, park your vehicle for free at the following locations and ride the bus – It’s the way to go! $3 ride-all-day or $1 per boarding

- Northside Park on 125th Street
- Municipal Lot at 100th Street
Take advantage of the Town’s Park & Ride location on Route 50 in West Ocean City. Park your car for free and hop on the non-stop shuttle to Springfest for $1 round-trip.

While at Springfest, be sure to visit the Official Event Merchandise Tent located just inside the main entrance. Don’t forget your official 2012 Springfest tee. Youth and adult sizes through 4XL are available.

OC Air Show
June 9 – 10, 2012
5th Anniversary
Celebrating its fifth year, the Ocean City Air Show is back with the return of the Thunderbirds. The show will be visible along the entire length of the Boardwalk, creating an inspiring experience for visitors while they enjoy the resort’s beaches and attractions. Spectators can see the show free of charge, however, VIP seating is available for those who want to be front and center. Saturday and Sunday 12 noon - 4 p.m. Show Center: 16th Street & Boardwalk.
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will return to Ocean City in 2012 to headline the OC Air Show! For the first time ever, the OC Air Show will feature two jet demonstration teams with the Black Diamond Jet Team, the premier civilian team in the nation, also performing. Flag Day
June 10, 2012
The Town of Ocean City’s Flag Day ceremony will take place on Sunday at the OC Air Show at 12 noon. This event will be located on the beach at 16th Street and will include the American Flag being carried to a drop zone by a member of a military parachute team. The flag will be presented to a veteran, who will represent all members of the United States Military Services.

Fine Art Show

Art’s Alive celebrates 12 years as Ocean City’s biggest and best fine art show. What could be better than fine art at the beach? How about fine art for sale around a beautiful lagoon in a picturesque park with expansive bay views.
Visit 100 artists as they sell their works, lunch at the Artists’ Café and enjoy live music while your children enjoy FREE art activities. Art’s Alive is the art show that has something for everyone.
Art’s Alive is a juried, fine art show with work for sale in 12 categories including ceramics, drawing, fiber, furniture, glass, printmaking, photography, jewelry, mixed media, painting, sculpture and fine wood. Artists compete for $5,250 in cash prizes. A special thanks to the Art League of Ocean City for their support of Art’s Alive.
Art’s Alive will take pace outdoors rain or shine. Bring the whole family and create an “artsy” Ocean City memory at Art’s Alive 2012.

Bring your picnic basket and beach chairs to Northside Park at 127th Street and the Bay for ice cream sundaes and live entertainment for adults and children. The lineup of entertainers this season will make you stand and cheer, however, the spotlight will be on you creating your own ice cream sundae with delicious toppings. Sundaes in the Park is a free family concert series offered Sunday evenings in July and August from 6 to 8 p.m. For a small fee, enjoy your own ice cream sundae creation as you listen to your musical favorites and watch the sun set over the beautiful Assawoman Bay.

Concerts on the Beach provide free, live entertainment with tribute bands and local favorites. The beach beat will have your hands clapping and your toes tapping to the variety of entertainment from 8 to 9:30 p.m. each Wednesday evening. Sunfest celebrates its 38th year as Ocean City’s biggest and best festival. Sunfest artists will delight your senses with their art and craft creations. Demonstrating artists will amaze you with their unique talents. Over 30 food vendors will awaken your taste buds with delicious foods from famous Eastern Shore delicacies to pit beef, gyros, Asian cuisine and many more. Enjoy free live entertainment on two stages all day long. Children will enjoy hayrides and inflatables on the beach. Sunfest 2012 has something for everyone.
Admission to the four-day event is free. All entertainment is free with the exception of the headline acts, which start at 8 p.m. On Thursday, take a walk down memory lane with Sha Na Na. Saturday’s headline act will be rocker Bret Michaels. Stayed tuned for other official entertainment announcements. Tickets will be on sale at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center Box Office Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by calling TicketMaster at 1-800-551-SEAT, or www.ticketmaster.com.

Winterfest of Lights Celebrates 20 Years of
Dazzling Lights on Winter Nights!
November 15, 2012 – January 1, 2013
Sunday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.,
Friday & Saturday 5:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Admission is $5.00 for those 12 years and older,
and FREE for those 11 years and younger.
Trams are handicap accessible.
Visit the Winterfest Village, located at beautiful Northside Park, 125th Street and the bay. Dazzling lights on winter nights will put you in the mood for the holiday season. Board the Winterfest Express and prepare to be whisked into a magical land of spectacular lights. Displays include the Twelve Days of Christmas, Santa’s Workshop, The Wizard of Oz and an amazing, twinkling 50-foot Christmas tree. The mile-long adventure is accompanied by music that can be enjoyed by children of all ages.

After your ride, visit the Winterfest Village. You can warm up with a hot chocolate while you browse the Yukon Cornelius Gift Shop. Santa will be available for photos every night through December 23.
